Persona 3 Portable slated for a July, 2010 release!

Atlus announced today that the PSP version of the popular Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3 will see its highly anticipated stateside release on July 6, 2010. Mark your calendars!

Persona 3 Portable, an enhanced remake of 2007's hit JRPG Persona 3 includes new features including a new playable female protagonist and the ability to control the actions of each party member (much like Persona 4), among other enhancements. Choosing a different gender for your main character will present you with different events and social links as the story progresses.

Though Persona 3 Portable is the third release of Persona 3, I'm definitely picking it up because the game is just that great. Be sure to voice your thoughts and see the reactions of fellow members in the channel's Velvet Room board!
